Brazilian giants Corinthians are trailing to a shock goal from Paraguayan side Guarani in the first leg of their Copa Libertadores last 16 game.

In truth, the Paraguayans have had the best of the match and deserve their lead.

The goal eventually came in the 60th minute from Federico Santander. The 23 year old smashed a long distance shot goal bound, but some shocking keeping from Corinthians shot stopper Cassio saw the ball spin off him and sneak inside the post.

Only one side have currently booked their place in the quarter final – Tigres UANL from Mexico. The winners of this game will play either Wanderers or Racing in the next round.
