Good news for Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez. According to Goal.com, the 23-year old Argentine international striker has been voted as the best ever striker to have featured for the Brazilian club by a landslide.
Tevez was truly the best player during his short spell with Corinthians and towards the end of his tenure there, relationship between him and the club’s fans were severely impaired and the player literally had to escape from Brazil to save his skin. But now it seems that with time, the Corinthians fans have accepted Tevez’s contribution to the club.
The Brazilian sports papar Lance! carried out the polls on its websites and it was revealed that Tevez has amassed just over 41% of the total votes. Tevez must be enjoying himself now that he has been voted as one of the great players to have played for one of the great teams in South American football.
