Pedro has seen his chances of a prominent role in Luis Enrique’s starting eleven compromised by the arrival of Luis Suarez last summer, the 28-year-old making just 15 La Liga starts in 2014/15, and a move to Man United could help to re-ignite the versatile forward’s career.

Man United have edged to successive 1-0 wins in their opening two Premier League fixtures and could well do with more of a cutting edge in the final third.

Pedro has scored 99 goals for Barcelona, one of which came against Man United in the 2011 Champions League final, which saw the Catalan giants triumph 3-1 at Wembley.
