Radamel Falcao edges closer to Chelsea exit as Turkish giants loom

Misfiring Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao is believed to be closing in on an exit from Stamford Bridge in the new year as Turkish giants Fenerbahce are closing in on a loan deal, according to the Daily Express.

The Colombian international is currently on loan with Chelsea from French side Monaco, but he has struggled to rediscover his best form since arriving in England.

His difficult spell with Manchester United yielded just four goals, and so far this term he has only managed to find the net once this term, and has even failed to take to the pitch since late October.

The Blues are willing to cut his stay in West London short and send him packing back to Monaco, though he isn’t thought to be there for long either as Fenerbahce are desperate to bring him on board.

The Turks are hoping to pair him alongside Robin van Persie in a bid to overtake Besiktas at the top of the Super Lig table.
