Oddsmakers name Liverpool top transfer choice for struggling Man City star

While Yaya Toure has enjoyed some of the best individual success of his carer since joining Man City in the 2010-11 season, the 32-year-old midfielder is on a steep decline this year and could be on his way out of the Etihad this summer. Should he leave, a surprise Premier League club with an energetic, bespectacled manager could scoop him up.

According to the Paddy Power [per the Metro], Liverpool have been pegged as the most likely Premier League club to land Toure at 5/1 odds. However, the same oddsmakers have also put the high-spending Chinese Super League as the Ivory Coast star’s most likely destination at 2/1 odds.

Toure has six goals and five assists in the Premier League this year and another goal with two assists in the Champions League. Last year Toure scored 10 league goals, and the year before that he set a career-high with 20 league goals.

Man City acquired Toure from Barcelona back in 2010 for an estimated £24 million.
