Arsenal and Chelsea wait patiently to sign Real Madrid star, Prem duo plan to move again once 6′ 2″ man becomes unsettled

Reports in Spain claim that Arsenal and Chelsea are still very interested in signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

The 6′ 2″ frontman returned to the Spanish capital this summer when Real activated a buy-back clause to re-sign him from Juventus, where he had become a first-team star.

Now back at Real, Morata faces the prospect of having to accept a reduced role, playing second fiddle to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.

So far, he has held his own, starting four times in La Liga this season. And, according to Don Balon, Morata is very keen to fight for his place.

The same source states that Morata does not plan to cause a fuss at Real should he not get the game time he wants, however Arsenal and Chelsea are both poised to move for him should he become unsettled.

Morata will celebrate his 24th birthday next month. Surely a player of his age and ability must be playing every week?
