Zlatan Ibrahimovic angers fans as £260k-a-week Man United “mercenary” beams with delight after 4-0 loss to Chelsea

Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday will have ruined the weekend for many lovers of the Red Devils.

However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeared to be in a great mood after the final whistle was blown at Stamford Bridge.

The United striker, who earns £260,000 a week according to the Daily Mail, was all smiles as he shook hands with Chelsea no.10 Eden Hazard on the pitch.

It was also claimed that he even swapped shirts with the Belgian playmaker.

Zlatan touched the ball 52 times during the game, registering just one shot on target and committing two fouls.

He wasn’t outrageously awful, but he certainly didn’t play well.

And his apparent contentment with such a game has gone down very badly among football fans on Twitter.

OK, so I stirred the pot with my initial Tweet, but the volume and toxicity of the replies has been quite remarkable.
