The 21-year-old has been in great form for Middlesbrough this season, scoring 19 goals to help them in to the Championship play-offs. The versatile winger could even help them in to the Premier League, with the team currently 2-1 against Brentford before their second leg. Win and they will face either Ipswich Town or Norwich City in the final for a place in the top flight.

Bamford hasn’t played for the Blues since signing for them in 2012, which has led to some believing the forward could leave the club in the summer. However, it now seems that Jose Mourinho wants to keep the youngster at Stamford Bridge. A loan back to Boro could be a possibility thanks to the Portuguese’s friendship with their manager Aitor Karanka.

On the other hand, Everton, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle are all keen to sign the loanee, and could offer him far more regular football than Chelsea.
