The Argentine only took over at Marseille last summer and having initially impressed his side fell away from the Ligue 1 title race and may now miss out on a Champions League berth for next term and as such his position in charge at the Stade Velodrome could be in jeopardy.

Current Hammers manager Sam Allardyce will see his contract with the East London side expire in the summer and with no new deal on the table it appears that the Upton Park outfit have opted to make a change at the top.

Bielsa may be tempted by a move to the Premier League and the allure of West Ham’s move to the Olympic Stadium could prove a motivating factor.
