Manchester United may have to offer up one of their most exciting young forwards if they are to succeed in signing Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal have asked about landing Anthony Martial as part of the deal, which makes sense for them in their bid to replace the Chilean.
United may want to think twice about letting a top talent like Martial go, however, with the Frenchman showing real promise at points this season.
Real Madrid are being linked with a stunning triple raid on Tottenham for manager Mauricio Pochettino and star duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
Don Balon says the trio are on Florentino Perez’s radar, and this follows Manchester United also being linked with all three at various points this season.
Pochettino could be an ideal replacement if Mourinho joins PSG, while Kane and Alli would likely be upgrades on the likes of Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in attack.
Finally, Manchester United have also been boosted by the news that Tottenham are no longer in the transfer battle for Bordeaux starlet Malcom.
The young Brazilian has shone in Ligue 1 this season and is also on Arsenal’s agenda, but a £45million move to Old Trafford could now be on the cards.
Spurs dropping out should give the Red Devils an easier time of signing the 20-year-old, who could be a fine alternative to the likes of Sanchez and Alli in that attacking midfield role.
