It finally looked as though Chelsea had made their breakthrough in the 70th minute of their clash against Southampton, only for it to be ruled out for offside only moments later.
Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard showed off some excellent skill to get past his man before laying the ball off to Cesc Fabregas. The Spanish playmaker showed off his usual passing prowess by playing the ball into out-of-favour striker Albaro Morata who put the ball into the back of the net.
The referee then broke Chelsea fans’ hearts by disallowing the goal for offside. At a first look it seemed as though Morata was just onside so the Blues may have found themselves on the wrong end of a decision this evening.

The Blues have been disappointing this evening against a side that are battling with relegation. Chelsea have been dismal recently and it’s extremely surprising to see them drop off so much after what was such a emphatic start to the season.
