Scan today: Manchester United sweat over potential injury to in-form star

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly set to undergo a scan today to check the seriousness of a thigh injury picked up in the club’s 2-2 draw with Burnley in their Premier League clash on Tuesday night.

The France international has been in fine form for United recently and interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not want to be without him for any extended period of time.

Still, United must await results on a scan on Pogba today to determine his current injury status, according to a report from the Metro.

The 25-year-old has usually not had too much trouble staying fit in his career so far, but it seems he did not come through the Burnley game unscathed.

Pogba scored from the penalty spot to help MUFC come from 2-0 down to grab a point against the Clarets in a close game at Old Trafford.

The goal marked Pogba’s sixth in eight games since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December.
