Manchester United have sent a message of sorts to their rivals Chelsea and Arsenal after tying Anthony Martial down to a new contract.
The Red Devils announced the France international had extended his stay with the club until 2024 today, and later tweeted out this picture of him alongside a padlock.

In other words – hands off to any potential transfer suitors, with Chelsea and Arsenal most strongly linked with the 23-year-old during the summer months when his future looked in serious doubt.
Chelsea had been strongly linked with Martial as a potential replacement for Eden Hazard, who, of course, the Blues have not yet got locked down to a new deal as Real Madrid sniff around.
Arsenal, meanwhile, wanted Martial in the Alexis Sanchez swap and were linked with him again in the summer when his relationship with Jose Mourinho severely threatened his future at the club.
