Chelsea are reportedly making Luka Jovic their number one striker target for the summer transfer window.
According to German source Bild, the Blues are already preparing to pay around £39million for the talented young Eintracht Frankfurt forward, who is also a target for Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Jovic looks a top prospect and one who could be ideal for Chelsea right now due to their problems up front.
The west London giants offloaded the disappointing Alvaro Morata in January, with Gonzalo Higuain joining on loan from Juventus.
However, Olivier Giroud’s future at Stamford Bridge is also in doubt, with Bild suggesting Jovic is being targeted as a replacement for the Frenchman as he nears the end of his contract.
It would certainly be exciting to see the 21-year-old Serbian make his way to the Premier League as his next move, but Chelsea could obviously struggle if Real and Barca are also in the running.
Jovic has 19 goals in all competitions this season, and an impressive record of 14 in 19 in the Bundesliga.
Bild claim Chelsea are also set to watch him in Europa League action this week as his club take on Shakhtar Donetsk on Thursday night.
