Lucas Torreira
Arsenal fans had high hopes for Lucas Torreira when he first joined, but it just hasn’t worked out. The Uruguay international has been out on loan a couple of times now and a permanent exit is surely on the cards.
Hector Bellerin
Despite being a fan-favourite, Hector Bellerin’s form went a bit downhill before he left for a loan move to Real Betis last summer. There’s perhaps a slim chance he could still have a role to play at AFC, but a permanent move away is surely far more likely.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Once a promising youngster and useful squad player, Ainsley Maitland-Niles pushed for a move away last summer after publicly declaring he wanted more first-team football. Now on loan at Roma, he’s not really done much to impress, so don’t expect Arteta to keep him around for much longer.
Mohamed Elneny
A decent squad player who’s always done his job without complaints, Mohamed Elneny’s time to move on has probably come, with Arsenal sure to make new signings in midfield.
Reiss Nelson
Another young prospect who failed to live up to early promise, Reiss Nelson has been out on loan this season without really impressing, so he’ll probably be shifted out if offers come in.
