Scotland winger Ryan Fraser is reportedly looking to leave Newcastle United in January.

According to reports, the 28-year-old has instructed his agent to find him a new club as he looks to get his career back on track with regular football.

The Scottish winger has had a difficult time at Newcastle this season and he has started just 3 games in the Premier League for Eddie Howe’s side.

The Magpies have strengthened their squad significantly in the recent windows and the likes of Fraser have fallen down the pecking order as a result of that.

The 28-year-old needs to leave In order to play regularly once again and it will be interesting to see if he can secure a January exit.

Apparently, the player has a mutual agreement with Newcastle and the Magpies are prepared to let him leave this month. Newcastle value the player at £7 million and there is no doubt that Fraser could still be a useful player for a lot of mid-table Premier League clubs.

It will be interesting to see if the player’s suitors are willing to pay the reported asking price for the player in the coming weeks.
