Chelsea announced the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk during their match with Crystal Palace on Sunday and that allowed the Blues to unveil the winger at halftime for Stamford Bridge to welcome their new star.
The London club hijacked Arsenal’s move for the Ukrainian on Saturday as the Blues hierarchy offered Shakhtar more favourable terms and out of nowhere the €100m deal was complete – €70m (£62m) paid up front and €30m in add-ons.
Mudryk will wear the number 15 shirt at Chelsea and has signed a massive eight-and-a-half-year deal with the Premier League club, states David Ornstein.
