Leeds United reportedly aren’t prepared to give Jack Harrison a new contract on the £100k-a-week terms he was offered by Leicester City.
The 26-year-old was strongly linked with a move away from Elland Road in January, with Leicester emerging as his main suitors.
It seems the Foxes were ready to give Harrison very favourable terms if he’d joined them, but Leeds stepped in and cancelled the deal late on.
Reports state that Yorkshire outfit want to keep Harrison, but they’re still not willing to go as high as Leicester were in terms of a new contract offer to the player.
It remains to be seen if Harrison will be prepared to stay at Leeds for less than that or if he might seek to revive a move to the King Power Stadium in the summer.
