Tottenham are reportedly set to hold talks with Juventus over trying to make Dejan Kulusevski’s transfer permanent for below the initial €35million agreed fee.
The Sweden international has been on loan at Spurs for a year and a half, and it seems they’ll now have the option to sign him permanently this summer.
However, that would cost them €35m, and it seems Tottenham are keen to negotiate with Juve in order to get that fee down, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited and translated by Sport Witness.
Kulusevski started well in the Premier League but it’s fair to say he’s one of a number of players at THFC whose form has gone downhill this term, and it makes sense that the club are now unsure about spending big money on him.
It will be interesting to see what Juventus agree to, but one imagines they won’t necessarily be desperate to have Kulusevski back, so may let him go for a slightly lower price.
The 23-year-old never made much of an impact with the Serie A giants, despite previously looking hugely impressive during his time as a youngster at Parma.
It’s what he does h plays well then drops off he was 1st pick at juv then got dropped his attitude is shocking Ment to be were a poor team boycotting everything spurs is only way to go if we don’t this is the future as it’s be for 20odd years
