Manchester United

Newcastle United

  • Official: Sandro Tonali was yesterday announced as a new signing for Newcastle in a €70m deal with add-ons included. AC Milan will also have 10% sell-on clause. The midfielder has signed a contract until June 2029. It’s record sale for AC Milan — as Tonali becomes most expensive Italian player in the history of the game.

Rangers

  • Rangers have completed Cyriel Dessers deal with Cremonese — it will be done and sealed on Tuesday. My understanding is that Rangers will pay €5m fee plus €1.5m in add-ons.

Sporting Lisbon

  • Viktor Gyokeres deal latest – I understand the agreement is getting closer for the Swedish striker to move from Coventry City to Sporting Lisbon, bid has been improved. Sporting did best efforts, not done yet due to Coventry high requests — but it’s definitely getting closer. Parties believe a deal could be done later this week.

Tottenham

  • Has Harry Kane asked to leave Tottenham? Latest details here.
  • Barca president Joan Laporta: “I think that we will reach an agreement for Lenglet with Tottenham.”
  • Tottenham are speaking to Wolfsburg about Micky van de Ven. Negotiations ongoing for option revealed here last week. Both Tapsoba and van de Ven remain on Tottenham’s list, with talks ongoing.

Union Berlin

  • Union Berlin are set to sign Brenden Aaronson, an agreement is at the final stages with Leeds United. The deal will be completed on loan until the end of the season.

Villarreal

  • Official, confirmed. Ilias Akhomach has joined Villarreal on three year deal valid until June 2026. He’s joined as a free agent from Barcelona.
