Leeds could decide to sell first-team ace if they receive £30m bid

Leeds United could be prepared to sell Wilfried Gnonto in January if a £30m offer arrives following his underwhelming start to the current season.

That is according to Leeds Live, who reports that the Yorkshire club’s manager Daniel Farke is not totally against selling the 19-year-old.

Leeds refused to sell the Italian star during the summer transfer window amid interest in the winger from Everton, with Gnonto even refusing to play for Leeds in an attempt to force a move to Goodison Park.

The report states that if a bid arrives in January for the Leeds star, the club would be open to selling as they would now prefer to keep Crysencio Summerville at the club.

Gnonto has been unable to find his feet in the Championship so far and has had an underwhelming start to his campaign. The youngster has only scored and assisted once across the six matches he has played and has spent recent weeks out of action with an injury.

The Leeds star was very impressive in the Premier League last season and that is what attracted interest and the winger may be back in the English top flight soon if a bid arrives in January.
