On Saturday evening Man City host Chelsea in what could be yet another Premier League classic.
Goals are virtually guaranteed when these two teams meet, with 11 vs 11 noting that that there have been only three goalless draws between them since the Premier League began back in 1992.
Intriguingly, all three came in matches played at Stamford Bridge.
The last time no goals were scored in the fixture was way back in November 2012, and the last meeting – in November 2023 – saw eight goals scored in an epic 4-4 encounter.
It’s the type of game where anything can happen and that’s what makes it exciting.
The atmosphere is therefore sure to be fervent at the Etihad Stadium, with both sets of fans playing their part.

With the match kicking off at 5.30pm, there will be plenty of opportunity to find a TV screen and settle down and get comfortable before the ref blows his whistle to start the game.
Chelsea arguably have nothing to lose in the game given that most people would make Pep Guardiola’s side overwhelming favourites to take the three points.
Certainly, the Cityzens attacking prowess is feared across Europe, whereas Mauricio Pochettino is still trying to work out which strike force is his best and most lethal.
Christopher Nkunku has had an awful time with injuries since putting pen to paper on a deal in West London, but since he’s come into the side he has shown glimpses of what it was that interested his manager in the first place.
Shaun Wright-Phillips, who it could be said has a foot in both camps given that he played for Chelsea and Man City during his career, believes it’s the brilliant form of Cole Palmer that is giving Pochettino headaches as far as Nkunku is concerned.
“I think him (Palmer) playing as well as he has actually caused Pochettino problems because he would play in that No 10 role and that was meant to be Nkunku’s position,” he said to the Man City YouTube channel when previewing the game after City’s Champions League win over RB Leipzig.
“Because Cole is playing so well, Nkunku is not starting. If he does come on he tends to go as the leading striker. He doesn’t really stay there anyway.”
Of course, tinkering is the last thing that the Argentinian needs to be doing in a game of such magnitude.
If the side is settled and playing well, there’s no need to put extra pressure on Nkunku to deliver in the short bursts of time he’s being given on the pitch.
With Raheem Sterling set to start against his old club too, it adds even more spice to the fixture.
