Spurs keeping tabs on winger despite recent medical concerns

Antonio Nusa reportedly remains a transfer target for Spurs despite the Club Brugge winger failing a medical with another Premier League side.

The Norway starlet was one of the January window’s biggest sagas. Although wanted by multiple clubs it was Thomas Frank’s Bees who ended up winning the race.

However, despite agreeing to a fee with Club Brugge and personal terms with the player, the Bees were forced to pull the plug after the 18-year-old failed his medical.

Spurs not giving up on signing Antonio Nusa

Consequently, sent back to Belgium, Nusa has remained a Brugge player but his future remains up in the air ahead of the summer window.

And according to a recent report from GiveMeSport, despite his physical condition presenting problems, Ange Postecoglou remains an admirer and could look to make another move once the season comes to an end.

Although it remains unknown if Spurs will pursue the teenager again, there is growing speculation that he could be offered another Premier League lifeline.

Despite currently being ruled out with a hamstring injury, Nusa, who has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, has enjoyed a decent individual campaign. The young winger, who can also play as a striker, has scored three goals and registered another three assists in 19 league games.
