Saudi Arabia’s Pro League are continuing in their pursuit to recruit some of Europe’s biggest stars with their latest target being an important Atletico Madrid player.
The wealthy Middle Eastern league have already captured many top stars, including Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and of course, Cristiano Ronaldo.
And now, according to a recent report from Fichajes, the latest big-name player to appear on the Pro League’s wishlist ahead of the summer transfer window is Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodrigo De Paul.

Al Ahli, whose squad boasts the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino and Allan Saint-Maximin, are considered the most interested in Atletico Madrid’s number five.
Signing the industrious Argentine won’t be straightforward though.
Although De Paul, 29, struggled during his first season after signing from Udinese in 2021, he has since become one of Diego Simeone’s most important players.
Therefore, and considering the player has less than two years left on his contract, the Spanish club’s valuation is set at around €40 million (£35 million).
During his three years in the Spanish capital, De Paul, who lifted the 2022 Winter World Cup alongside Lionel Messi, has scored eight goals and registered 15 assists in 123 games in all competitions.
