Arsenal presented with analytics that show why star could be on Man City’s transfer agenda

During contract talks with Arsenal, the representatives of defender Ben White presented the Gunners with data from Analytics FC on how well suited the player could be for the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona.

White has proven a superb signing for Arsenal since his move from Brighton a few years ago, and although there has been some controversy about his decision to snub an England call-up, there’s no doubt about what he offers to Mikel Arteta’s side.

On top of that, it seems that White would also definitely be of interest to the likes of Man City, Barca, Bayern Munich and AC Milan if he were ever to become available, according to The Athletic.

Arsenal fans surely won’t care much about White deciding not to play for his country at the moment, with the 26-year-old only ever giving his best when he puts on the famous red and white jersey.

White transfer would surely be of interest to Man City and others

It’s easy to imagine White being a success for someone like Man City, though it’s surely highly unlikely that we’d see Arsenal selling the England international to one of their biggest rivals.

It shows just how much great work Arteta has done with this set of players, though, as so many of the club’s signings have only improved under his guidance, with the Spanish tactician clearly learning a lot from working under Pep Guardiola during his spell as assistant manager at the Etihad Stadium.

White seems fully committed to Arsenal, however, after signing a new long-term contract, and if he were ever to leave, one imagines the north Londoners would do their best to sell him abroad instead of to someone like City.

It could, therefore, be interesting to watch out for the likes of Barca and Milan in the future.
