One often finds a knock-on effect during transfer windows in the sense that as one player moves, so the dominoes start to fall elsewhere and the merry-go-round begins.
Leao has seemingly put paid to that particular wheel turning before it has begun, and Chelsea will therefore be encouraged that they could have a free run at Osimhen.
