Real Madrid forward Joselu has dropped a clear hint over his future amid recent transfer rumours linking him with Manchester United.
The veteran Spanish forward, who has had spells in the Premier League in the past with both Newcastle United and Stoke City, has really flourished late on in his career, joining Real Madrid on loan this season, with the option to make the move permanent.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano in his post on X below, with the Italian journalist also quoting Joselu as discussing his future plans, which strongly hint at the player being keen to carry on playing even as he’s just turned 34 as he enjoys some of the finest form of his career with Los Blancos…
?? Joselu on his future: "Physically I’m in one of my best moments of my career. I’ve just turned 34 but I don’t feel it".
"Reaching here at 33, 34, is not easy, and I’m not planning to stop now", told @sidlowe.

Joselu transfer: Man United have been linked, but will he stay at Real Madrid?
Spanish outlet Relevo recently claimed Man Utd were interested in Joselu, but since Joselu seems proud to have just earned this opportunity with Real Madrid, it seems he’s in no mood for his time with the club to stop here.
Real will no doubt be keen to have strong squad depth again next season, and an experienced professional like Joselu seems ideal to serve as a backup option in case he’s needed over a long and gruelling campaign.
The Spain international has 14 goals in all competitions this season so clearly has plenty to offer, even if he’s unlikely to ever establish himself as an automatic starter.
That’s precisely the kind of player United could probably do with next season to take the pressure off young Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund, whilst also allowing Marcus Rashford a bit more freedom as they’ve been overly reliant on him for goals, only for those goals to then dry up in Erik ten Hag’s second season in charge at Old Trafford.
