Jurgen Klopp gets encouragement to take new job after latest development

After leaving Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has a good chance of landing a new job; Germany may be considering him for the national team manager position following Euro 2024.

This is due to Rudi Voller’s recent agreement to serve as the head of the German FA until the 2026 World Cup.

For years, Voller has been praising Klopp, and in 2020, he asserted that it was just a matter of time until Klopp returned to his own country to assume leadership.

During an interview in the past on Sky90 (via Express), Voller stated with assurance:

“I do believe that Jogi Low can still do it for a while, but at some point it will be Jurgen Klopp.”

After leading Germany through the summer’s European Championship, current head coach Julian Nagelsmann may have his sights set on a comeback to club football, as reported by the Mirror.

After leaving his position at Liverpool this summer, Klopp is eager to take a break.

However, with Voller on board, the chance to lead Germany in their 2026 World Cup campaign would be alluring.

Voller stated following his commitment to the DFB:

“In the past 14 months of my work, I have noticed that the responsible task at the DFB has grown more and more close to my heart every day.”

Jurgen Klopp to take the Germany job?

“What initially perhaps started out of a feeling of obligation towards Germany, the association and the national team, has long since developed into a personal concern.

“As director of the senior national team, I would like to use my experience to do my part to ensure that Germany’s most important football team is successful again, but also beyond the home European Championships this summer.

“It’s a lot of fun working with all the DFB officials from the senior national team right down to the youth teams. Together we now want to create a wonderful European Championship in Germany and then take the momentum with us for further tasks.”

Jurgen Klopp would be hugely in demand

The Liverpool manager would not be short of offers after the amazing work he has done at the Merseyside club.

Some of the biggest clubs in the world are looking for him but the German is right now focused only on Liverpool’s Premier League title challenge and their Europa League campaign.

Klopp’s move to the German national team looks inevitable with Voller in command of the federation.
