Leandro Trossard became the first-ever Arsenal player to score in his first four Champions League home games after his strike levelled things up again against Bayern Munich.
The Germans had led 2-1 thanks to goals from Serge Gnabry on a return to his former club, and Harry Kane on his return to North London.
Arsenal kept knocking at the door and their patience was eventually rewarded when Trossard drilled home, lifting the roof of the Emirates Stadium in the process.
