Manchester United are reportedly preparing to part ways with striker Rasmus Hojlund, as manager Ruben Amorim seeks to revamp the team’s attacking options.
Hojlund, who joined United from Atalanta for £72 million, has struggled to make a significant impact, scoring only three goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season.
Amorim is keen on bringing in new forwards to bolster the squad’s attacking capabilities.
One of the primary targets is Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Cunha, with United reportedly ready to activate his £62.5 million release clause.
Additionally, Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap is on United’s radar, with a £30 million release clause which is now active after Ipswich Town’s relegation.
Another player that Amorim is targeting is Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen who is currently on loan at Galatasaray.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus have stepped out of the race to sign Osimhen this summer which would make it easier for United to make a move for him and bring him to Old Trafford.
The Nigerian attacker is set to be sold by the Italian giants this season with Premier League clubs, particularly Man United, showing interest in signing him.
Man United are looking to strengthen their attack

United’s struggles in front of goal are there for everyone to see and a new striker is desperately needed at the club if they want to get back near the top of the Premier League table.
Osimhen has consistently demonstrated his potency in the final third over the years.
During his time at Napoli, the Nigerian international racked up an impressive 65 goals and 12 assists in 108 Serie A appearances, cementing himself as one of Europe’s top strikers.
Currently on loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen has continued his prolific form, finding the net 21 times in just 25 league games, while also registering four assists.
Exclusive: Eight clubs make contact over signing Man United star who wants more playing time
Manchester United have set them up for a massive rebuild of the squad with more players leaving and recruitment of new players to be brought in.
It looks like a very tall order and if pertinent strategic recruitments are not done, the club has the danger ‼️ of missing out on important milestones in the club’s progress towards glory.
man United FC must swap Santho, Hojlund, Rashford, Anthony and Zirkzee for Ollie Watkins, Viktor Gyokeres, Delap, Victor Osinhem, goalkeeper and additional mmiddlefielder
If Man utd go on to sign Delap as their striker for next season then United will remain a mid table or lower table team just exactly the same way i said it when they signed Rasmus Hoijlund. He is not the striker to take United forward. What Manchester United needs now is a striker with a proven track record who can make an instant impact and Victor Osimhen fits that bill. It is either Osimhen or nothing else for united. They should go for him at all cost or maybe also get Gyokeres.
Man Utd, will delay their paper processes until all key and important players are depleted in the market. Then they’ll be forced to sign compromise players. I’ve lost hope in this team.😔
