Chelsea have reportedly agreed every detail of personal terms with Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.
According to Fabrizio Romano, this deal is edging closer as it’s now basically all done on the player’s side of things.
Chelsea still need to agree a fee with Man Utd, however, with BBC Sport reporting yesterday that the Red Devils had valued the Argentina international at as much as £60m earlier this summer.
It remains to be seen how much Garnacho will end up moving for, but it seems this is all heading in a positive direction, as per Romano’s latest post on X this morning…

Is Alejandro Garnacho really what Chelsea need?
One imagines this deal will divide Chelsea fans, as they already have plenty of similar attacking players who are probably a lot better.

And as Romano notes, it seems the Blues are also continuing to work on signing Xavi Simons, who is another superior attacking midfielder.
Garnacho has shown some potential during his time at United, but he’s also been inconsistent and there have been signs of a poor attitude.
Still, the Telegraph recently reported that CFC had done some checks on the player, so they’re seemingly happy to trust him.
Chelsea’s busy summer continues
As ever, this Chelsea ownership are investing huge amounts of money on new players, including some of the biggest young talents in the world.
Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Jorrel Hato and Estevao Willian have all joined this summer, and it looks like Simons and Garnacho will be next.
We’ve also seen Noni Madueke, Joao Felix, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Kepa Arrizabalaga leave the club.

xavi Simon is better fit for CFC . though if garnacho seal the deal hope they will develop him as world class player. and I hope CFc won’t abandon Xavi Simon , his still needed for the club . Joel ordonez or hankapie of Bayern Leverkusen could be another CBs Chelsea needs because of fofana , badiashile and Colwill injury prone . but play Anselmino and Acheampong both are ready to play and regular more playing time . maresca should trust this two young men even if they playing against big club . that’s the part of developing young talents .
