Liverpool are reportedly ready to let Joel Matip and Nat Phillips leave in the summer transfer window, with the signing of a new senior centre-back likely to be on the club’s agenda.
It’s been a difficult season at Anfield and it seems clear major changes are needed, with Matip no longer looking at his best, looking particularly poor in yesterday’s 3-0 defeat to Wolves.
The former Cameroon international has been a great servant at Liverpool for a number of years, but Football Insider now suggest they’ll be ready to listen to offers for him in the summer, with a replacement on their radar.
Phillips is another defender Liverpool surely need to offload after his lack of playing time recently, but it remains to be seen who LFC will be targeting to strengthen their back line.
Liverpool have a number of other players who now look to be past their peak despite having great careers at the club for so long.
Mohamed Salah, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson are others who no longer look as effective as they used to be, so it could be worth a major overhaul in several positions this summer.

Get rid of Taa , Fabinho and Salah who will bring in some good funds, then move on Adrian , Matip , Gomez (who offers nothing) Phillips and Jones with Ox and Keita leaving on free transfers. Bring in Tielemans and Zaha on free transfers, Mount who’s contract is running down then go all out for Rice and Bellingham. Maybe an out n out striker in Victor Osimhen

Skriniar already agreed to PSG. Anyone who says sell Trent has lost the plot. World class player that just needs moving to midfield or if he stays at RB, he needs a midfield capable of supporting and covering for him which he hasn’t got at the moment. Fabinho in his form won’t fetch much at all, looks like he’s forgotten how to play and simply move about a field.

Need to buy defenders too, Gomez and Matip gone, VvD is no longer the same. I just think TAA should be moved to midfield rather than sold. Ramsy should play at right back.

New coach at Everton and same players and they beat the league leaders Arsenal. LFC have got the players the problem is the coaching team. Look at the players the desire is not there. Players don`t lose there talent overnight. It`s obvious Klopp can`t Solve down side curve. Owners should get involved.

Half the first eleven had signed new contracts in the previous 18 months, without holding the club to ransom, and the negotiations being done as publicly as Salah’s were.
There’s no wonder morale and motivation looks like it’s through the floor.
Perceived special treatment of one player never works, especially when that player barely ever delivers in the biggest of games, when the ‘true’ big players really come to the fore – 3 finals last season and not a single goal from Salah – one goal in either of the matches against Spurs and the title’s won.
Lfc are not in good form we need to change some player like ox and ketia and some other flop player
Well obviously bring in someone , give Ramsey a try or play Tsimikas there. He’s left footed and can cut in and shoot. He’s certainly not scared to have a pop unlike salah

Offload Hindo,Fabinho,Salah,milner,ox,keita,deffinately bring kelleher as a first choice keeper,forget about intre and do the needful for the interest of the club and the fans
Klopp may have wanted reinforcement in ntheMF since last January transfer window, but what to do if we don’t get the fund. A new team must be built, Sweep off the unproductive players like Keita, OX, Gomez & Jones. Matip, Hendo, Milner & Adrian have passed their best. Offload all of them.
My opinion:- the downfall of LFC this season is the sale of Mané and the keeping of Salah(this man should have been sold) and not bringing new bloods. Bellingham is over valued, we may get 2 better MF for the same money(Rice & Neves).
