Arsenal have released their starting line up for today’s Premier League clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium, and one surprise decision is that Jorginho has been dropped to the bench.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is also absent due to injury, with Jakub Kiwior in his place at left-back, though the team is otherwise more or less as you’d expect, with Leandro Trossard starting up front while Gabriel Jesus is still out with injury.

See below for Arsenal’s post on X with Mikel Arteta’s starting line up, with wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri an exciting addition to the Gunners’ options on the bench…

Jorginho being on the bench and Trossard starting up front means that Kai Havertz has dropped back into midfield, so it’s an interesting choice by Arteta.

Havertz played well up front against Liverpool, while Jorginho has also been one of the team’s finest players recently, so these will be the decisions fans look at later on today if this result doesn’t go Arsenal’s way.
