Ange Postecoglou has provided a positive update regarding the potential return of star forward Richarlison for the upcoming weekend fixture.

Richarlison sustained a knee injury against Wolves and was initially expected to be sidelined for 3 to 4 weeks. However, Alasdair Gold hinted at a swifter recovery timeline.

Reports emerged yesterday indicating Richarlison’s participation in training, fueling speculation of his potential availability for the Fulham match.

Postecoglou has now confirmed that the former Everton striker has resumed training with the group.

Addressing the media ahead of the weekend game, Postecoglou stated (via Football London):

“He trained today so we’ll just see how he pulls up. If he pulls up OK, he’ll probably be available.”

Richarlison has been in outstanding form recently

Richarlison was on his best form of his Tottenham career before the injury

Richarlison’s potential return would undoubtedly provide a significant boost for Tottenham.

Prior to his injury, he had been enjoying the best form of his Spurs career, netting 9 goals in his last 10 games.

The 26-year-old’s turnaround is praiseworthy, particularly considering his challenges during his debut season at Tottenham, where he managed just one league goal in 27 appearances.

Postecoglou will be eager for Richarlison to maintain his impressive form as Spurs approach the final stretch of the season.
