Chaos ensued at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday night after Son scored direct from a corner against Man United, and the resulting melee should see both sets of players investigated by the FA according to former PGMOL chief, Keith Hackett.
With a Carabao Cup semi-final berth at stake, supporters were treated to a seven-goal thriller, but all of the talk will be about what went on in the aftermath of Son Heung Min‘s incredible strike.
Ultimately, the Tottenham ace sent his club to the semi-final with that ‘Olympic’ goal.

Keith Hackett says FA should investigate Tottenham and Man United
Keith Hackett certainly knows what he’s talking about when it comes to refereeing at the elite level, given his own background as an official and then as the head of PGMOL before Mike Riley and Howard Webb.
“An interesting and unusual incident with regard to the big screen in the stadium tonight,” he said to Tottenham News.
“Manchester United’s players were furious as several replays of the goal scored by Son Heung-min were played.
“The Manchester United players were very unhappy for the video highlight appeared to show what looked like a foul on Altay Bayindir. Showing the goal from Son Heung-min is standard procedure but this was a controversial goal.
“Bayindir had already complained to referee John Brooks that he was fouled by Lucas Bergvall.
“With the incident replayed Man United’s Fernandes was yellow carded by referee John Brookes for shouting at him while pointing to the screen.
“The United skipper may have had a point but despite there being a big screen – there is no official use of VAR available.
“I have no doubt that this will be investigated by the league and the Football Association disciplinary panel.”

Bruno Fernandes may have had a point says Keith Hackett
As Hackett notes, Man United captain, Bruno Fernandes, might have had a point when trying to implore the official to look at the big screen in the stadium which appeared to show Altay Bayindir being fouled by Lucas Bergvall.
With no VAR in place, however, the Portuguese was never going to get the official, John Brooks, to reverse his decision.
Rather than moving away and accepting the goal being given, the Man United captain simply carried on until Brooks was left with no alternative but to book him.
The FA will almost certainly want to take a look, and United’s players could be in trouble as a result.
Ruben Amorim already had one player upset with him, and there’s likely to be a few more moping around Carrington over the next few days after another chance of silverware went begging.

When referee mistake he should be punished, investigating of what for say the true about what happined, referees should pay for their mistakes.
