According to a report from FussballDaten, they have already expressed interest in signing the South Korean International as well. He could cost around €35-40 million during the summer transfer window.
The defender has struggled for regular opportunities at the German club, and it would be ideal for him to move on. Spurs or Newcastle might be able to provide him with regular opportunities next season. However, he earns around €16 million (£265k-a-week) at the German club, and he would have to take a significant pay cut to seal the move.

Spurs could use Min-jae
Tottenham need more in the defensive unit, especially with players like Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven expected to leave.
