Yohan Cabaye- Newcastle United to Paris St Germain
Cabaye is regarded as one of the best midfielders currently playing in the Premier League and had an excellent season for the Magpies during the 2011/2012 campaign. Although Cabaye wasn’t as effective during the 2012/2013 season, he is still regarded highly in England’s top flight. Despite his success at Newcastle, Cabaye could depart St James’s Park this summer, with the player keen to play Champions League football. A move back to France is his most likely option with French Champions Paris St Germain preparing to bring the midfielder back to France. Reports suggest that PSG will offer Newcastle around £20 million for the midfielder, an offer that would be hard to turn down. PSG’s French rivals AS Monaco are also thought to be interested in signing Cabaye and are preparing their own bid. Monaco have spent big this summer already by signing Falcao from Atletico Madrid and Porto pair James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho and the club could look to land Cabaye in another big money deal. The midfielder also recently stated his admiration for Manchester United and the Red Devils could make a move for the Frenchman if their bid for Cesc Fabregas falls through.
