We’re getting towards the business end of the season and that means it’s almost time for the transfer market to kick into full swing.

Read on for our look at 12 of the biggest transfer sagas we expect to dominate the rumour mill this summer, featuring Premier League stars like Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Moises Caicedo and Mason Mount…

Lionel Messi

Where else to start but with the biggest name in world football? The GOAT Lionel Messi could well be leaving Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires this summer, and CaughtOffside columnist Ben Jacobs has made it clear that a return to Barcelona is now not just a dream, but a serious possibility.

Victor Osimhen

One of the players of the season in Europe’s big five leagues, Victor Osimhen has been instrumental to firing Napoli to within touching distance of the Serie A title. A big transfer could surely follow, with Team Talk linking the Nigeria international with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, stating that he could cost as much as £133million.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane has had  a fine career at Tottenham, at least from an individual perspective, but it’s surely time for him to push for a move so he can win trophies. According to Ben Jacobs, Manchester United are showing the most serious interest at the moment, though Chelsea seemingly can’t be ruled out either, where the England international could be reunited with his old manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham has been dominating headlines for months ahead of what could be a fierce contest for his signature this summer, with Fabrizio Romano previously revealing to CaughtOffside that the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid being in the race to convince him to join.

Declan Rice

One of the finest midfielders in the Premier League, the time has surely come for Declan Rice to seal a big move this summer, and Ben Jacobs says Arsenal are making him their priority in that defensive midfield role. The England international could be perfect to give Mikel Arteta younger alternatives to ageing trio Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Jorginho.

Moises Caicedo

Another midfielder of interest to Arsenal is Brighton star Moises Caicedo, according to Fabrizio Romano. The talented young Ecuador international will surely have his pick of other top sides if the Gunners opt for Rice instead, though, with The Athletic mentioning Liverpool as possible suitors.
