We showed you a video of Ronaldo earlier this month that looked cheap and very very fake, this time however we are not so sure. Watch carefully as the former Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and AC Milan legend kicks a football at a moving ball with consummate ease. But is it real or simply a bit of trickery that we can’t quite work out?

This video is bad. Not sure what is being promoted by this advert but clearly their budget was severely stretched. Watch as Ronaldo (the fat one) kicks a bottle off some guys head some thirty yards away, only he hasn’t actually kicked it off the guys head at all. In fact the ball goes way wide but magically (and cheaply) the bottle goes flying. Embarrassing. Spotted on 101 Great Goals.

Firstly, the goal in question was from the penalty spot so didn’t require much in the way of energy expended for the 33 year old former legend. Secondly the burger that Ronaldo celebrates with is mimed. Perhaps in some way at getting back at those who feel he has piled on the pounds. Thirdly, how was that penalty even given? Fourthly watch as Roberto Carlos tries very blatantly to get the player cautioned for a handball that he had very little knowledge of.

“I’m getting old and my body is asking me to stop.” These are the words of a man who knows the end is nigh. As the former World Footballer of the Year continues to pile on the pounds in a manner not unlike Robert De Niro getting into character to play the ageing Jake LaMotta in Raging Bull, Ronaldo may have to bring forward his planned retirement date of summer 2011 or suffer the ignominy of not managing to fit into his Corinthians strip.
